STATES OF MATTER

Driftwood
Salon is pleased to present “States Of Matter”, a sculpture exhibit featuring the
extraordinary works of ten artists. Please
join us for our opening reception, complete with music, refreshments, and a pop
up ceramics boutique, on Thursday, October 22nd, from 5:00pm to
10:00pm.
Sculpture
communicates art in a way that other forms of art cannot. It allows to viewer
to experience works with all the senses. This month we will have a little of it
all; from the haunting mythical creatures of Bill Abright, to the sharp lines
and tightness of Dan Santos’ architecturally inspired homes, Wesley Wright’s
and Gabrielle Curry’s take on the animal kingdom, and the highly religious and thought
provoking works of Oliverio Quezada. This ability to manipulate the elements
and breathe life into our imagination is what we hope to capture with States Of
Matter.
We are honored to be showing the works of Bill
Abright, Don Santos, Oliverio Quezada, Wesley T. Wright, Hannah M. Pierce, Soojin
Choi, Steen Kjorlie, Gabrielle Curry, Joe Spear, and Greg Yates. In
conjunction with this sculpture exhibit, there will be a pop up ceramics
boutique featuring many other ceramic artists, just in time for your holiday
gifting. Please join us from 5:00pm to
10:00pm for our opening reception at 39 Isis Street, SF, CA, 94103 on Thursday
October 22nd.
Gallery
hours for this exhibit will be Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 5pm.
